GREAT NEWS!

A message from Drybrook RFC President:

“I am happy to be able to tell you that we have raised enough money to enable us to move forward and start the preparations for the building of our new stand. The plans have been submitted and the contractors lined up, and as soon as we are given the green light we can commence with the work needed. It never ceases to amaze me how generous people can be in supporting Drybrook RFC and without that support we would never be able to continue our quest to ensure the best possible facilities for the enhancement of Rugby Football for people of all ages and genders and a social hub that welcomes all and everyone into our family. The work carried out at the club over the last year has been immense and I would like to thank all members of the committee and volunteers for their hard work and commitment in support of the club. The new refurbishment to the existing clubhouse is coming along well and with the new roof, function room, toilets, kitchen and bar soon to be in place we can look forward to a very bright future on and off the field of play. The improvements to the already impressive gymnasium are adding to what we can offer members and with the new patio area and covered area set to be in place soon there has never been a better time to come and join us.

If you are a player we offer top coaching, the highest standard of amateur rugby in the county and a fantastic social aspect that is the envy of many of our rivals. The clubs women’s and girls sections continue to go from strength to strength with a high level of coaching and playing as does our very successful mini and junior sections.
Whatever you are looking for in a top sporting and social club we are confident that you would
be pushed to find better than what we can offer. We are all looking forward to getting back to some kind of normality and with the Club opening this weekend I feel we have a great time ahead of us. Anyone who has pledged to donate a seat but has not yet paid can meet me at the club this Saturday I will be there between 1pm and 3pm.
This invitation also extends to anyone who is considering joining Drybrook as a player or
social member. I would be honoured to show you around and welcome you personally. Finally we have four seats left of the one hundred. so if you would like to donate and have your name on one of those seats please message me asap. Once again thank you to everyone who has contributed and I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
