Stand up for Drybrook!

A message from Drybrook RFC President:

“Recently, long time club supporter Andy Gibbs approached me and said he would like to make a donation to the club and we spoke about what the money could be used for.
“Together we came up with the Stand idea.
“Andy started the ball rolling with a large donation and I approached another long time club supporter, Neill Ricketts who agreed to match Andy Gibbs donation.
“The stand would make a massive difference for the club. Elderly and disabled supporters would be able to watch the games in comfort, and what can be better for players of all ages than to run out in front of a packed stand!
“As always these projects have to be paid for and although we have already raised a good amount we still need your help to make it happen.

“The idea was to ask supporters to donate an amount to the project to help with the construction, any amount five pounds or over.
“Alternatively you could sponsor a seat in the stand for one hundred pounds per seat. Your name would be on a plaque attached to the seats and through this we could achieve most of the extra funding we need.
“I very much appreciate that the past twelve months have been a difficult time for everyone and realise thatmoney is in short supply. What could be better though than coming out of these bleak times by being able to sit in comfort and cheer on your favourite village rugby team as they take on the big boy’s!
“I would like to thank everyone who has already
made a donation and would love to see this exciting project  in place for the start of next season.”
