Outstanding banter in the bar!

The Forest Combination Vets welcomed Gloucester Combination Vets to Drybrook’s Mannings ground last Saturday.
The game kicked off with a virtually empty touchline as no one thought to inform the packed bar that kick-off had been moved forward 15 minutes.
However, once someone noticed the match was in progress everyone braved the elements and rushed out to watch the stars of yesteryear.
What followed was a good game of rugby played in good spirit by all.

The Gloucester Vets eventually ran out winners but this was more of a reunion than a win-at-all-costs match.
Back in the bar a host of former Gloucester and Forest players were in good voice as an extended Karaoke session ensued.
Thanks go to all those who helped organise the event. Everyone is now looking forward to the return fixture!
