u15 girls show great promise for the future

Drybrook’s U15 Girls welcomed Cinderford to the Manning’s ground for their first game of the season.

The match kicked off at 1:30 with 14 a side due to Drybrook being 1 player short of a full complement, 11 of the girls stepping up from under 13s last season never having played on a full size pitch with scrums and lineouts before.
At half time the score was 10 – 17 to the away side with Drybrooks try’s being scored by second row Tehana and centre Rhianne.
The second half kicked off and Cinderford started getting up speed on the score board.
Then came a blow for Drybrook with scrum half Hannah Keyse getting injured to find out later she has broken her arm.
Drybrook had to restructure with only 13 players and no scrum half, the game ended at 10 – 45 to Cinderford.

Player of the match for Drybrook was Rhianne Baldwin.
