Three out of three for Development Squad

Old Patesians 2nds 5pts
Drybrook Development Squad: 52pts

The Development squad made the short trip up to Cheltenham to take on Old Patesians at Everest Road.
The match unfortunately was played with uncontested scrums as the home side were unable to field a full front row.
Drybrook started well playing down the noticeable slope, only to be met by solid defence from Old Pats.
The away teams persistence led to flying winger Will Revill scoring from a set move wide right.
It wasn’t long before Drybrook added to theirscore when flanker Connor Hale exploited a gap by the ruck to squeeze over for a try.
Drybrook got their 3rd try of the game through

.
Revill this time scoring wide left following some free flowing handling.
Old Pats fought back to get a try in the corner just before the half time whistle.
Drybrook were soon to cross the whitewash in the 2nd when scrum half Gareth Holdsworth sprinted over for the teams 4th try.
At this point Old Pats were suffering from some ill-discipline and received 3 yellow cards during the 2nd period.
Next up to score was Ashley Jennings, following a driving maul.
Drybrook were able to take full advantage of their numerical advantage running in a further 3 tries through Revill, Blake Smith and Connor
Auker-Howlett.
Skipper Andy Milner completed the scoring with 6 conversions.
This was another impressive performance from the lads in green, who even playing in constant rain looked to play expansive rugby.

Next week the development squad host Thornbury 2nds at the Mannings.
