Former Drybrook player Shauna Bennett has been selected in the England 7’s squad to play in the French leg of the Sevens Grand Prix Series in France on the 29th-30th June.
Shauna who now plays for Gloucester/Hartpury, started her career with the Green, Black and White of Drybrook and continued throughout her junior rugby. Shauna will now step out with the red rose emblazoned on her chest and realise a dream of representing her country.
Shauna will not be on her own though as another ex Drybrook player Natasha Hunt will be captaining the squad and the whole of Drybrook Rugby Club are extremely proud of the pair.
