Hatherley Manor was the place to be Friday night as 140 people from Drybrook RFC gathered to mark a season of celebration to mark the 125th season of the clubs formation back in 1893. Few of those forbearers back then could have imagined such an achievement so in honour, all of the tables were named after the very first team to don the Drybrook shirts.
Everyone was welcomed by Chairman Chris Rawlings and a splendid meal was enjoyed by all. The evening continued well into the night with music performed by the exceptional Tommy and the Fuse with plenty of enjoyment and tomfoolery mixed in for good measure.
This was an outstanding success which will be followed on the 30th August with the book launch of the last 25 years of Drybrook RFC by club stalwart Paul Mason and a players reunion in the clubhouse at 7.30. We look forward to seeing you.
