Drybrook Girls round-up -17th April 2016

Drybrooks u13s made the short trip to Berry hill to take part in a mini tournament. The young stars remain undefeated after winning all 3 games.
Drybrook 60 – Berry Hill 5, try scorers were Haidee Field 2, Megan Butler 3, Charlotte Probert 2, Lily Mae walker 2, Hollie Bishop, Dionne Eaccups and Shannon Wintle.
Drybrook 45 – chipping Sodbury 5. Try scorers were Lily Mae Walker 4, Olivia Smeeth 2, Hollie Bishop, Charlotte Probert and Haidee Field.
Drybrook 25 – cinderford 15, try’s scored by Lily Mae Walker 3, Shannon Wintle and Charlotte Probert.
Ruby Cook and Charlotte Probert were girls of the game.
Drybrook u15s and u18s took part in round robins at Worcester.
Drybrook u15s won their 1st game v Oswestry 15- 5 with try’s from Maddi Ballinger, Amber Dunstan Stamp and Layla Ballinger. Georgia Peglar worked tirelessly to assist in the try’s scored and was girl of the game. The game v Worcester ended in a 19 – 5 loss, but the score did not reflect how close the game was. Great play by Kenzi sheen saw her score drybrooks try.
Drybrook  18s played Worcester first and were unlucky to lose 27-17 as at half time they had been 2 tries ahead. Scorers were Harlie Field 2, Katy Jeffrey, Saska Bowdler kicked 1 conversion.
In the second game against Shropshire Drybrook secured a 31-5 win. Captain kirsty Gwilliam scored another hat trick, her 3rd in as many weeks, whilst Harlie field got her 3rd try of the day and Saska Bowdler also scored. Vic Mince kicked 3 conversions and Becca Cooper was named as girl of the game.
