The club have recently received the good news that its application for a grant towards creating additional car parking space has been approved by the Rugby Football Foundation through its Groundmatch Grant Scheme.
The money will be used to create an additional car parking area by removing the waste tip created when the existing 1st XV pitch was levelled in 1989. The removal of the tip will allow landscaping to take place using suitable materials to provide parking for an additional 40 vehicles.
Phase 1 of the works is planned to take place in May/June 2016 when the tip will be removed.
Phase 2 of the works will be to landscape and prepare the area for parking.
