It was an opportunity for clubs to reward their stalwarts with a fantastic evening and Lucie and Soapy made the most of the night chasing autographs for Gary Taylor’s collection.
A very enjoyable 3 course meal was quickly despatched by the Drybrook representatives – Dean Large in particular impressed everyone by eating two puddings whilst using his free hand to update everyone on face book.
Jason Robinson, a World Cup winner with England in 2003, was the main speaker and he was joined for a Q&A by 2 Gloucester legends of that England World Cup winning side, Phil Vickery and Trevor Woodman.
In addition, the club stalwarts received a photograph of themselves with the Rugby World Cup; a fantastic and unique memento of their evening to show club mates, friends and family.
