Frazer McArdell who has been the head coach at Drybrook RFC for three and a half seasons has resigned from his position to take up a role overseas.
In August he will be teaming up with James Forrester the ex -Gloucester and England No 8 who is currently head coach of the Singapore Rugby Union.
Although naturally disappointed to have lost a coach of Frazer’s calibre everyone at Drybrook RFC wishes him all the success in his new position. Frazer brought some exceptional coaching and leadership skills to Drybrook and under his stewardship the club gained back to back promotions as well as a trip to Twickenham for the Senior Vase final.
A special leaving event is being planned for Frazer in the summer.
The club are very fortunate that current back’s coach Tim Stevenson will take on the head coach role at the club and are now actively looking to recruit a specialist forward coach or player/coach to join the coaching staff.
Applicants for the vacancy are required to apply by e-mail to timothy.stevenson2@hartpury.ac.uk . The closing date for applications will be Wednesday 27th May.
