A short ceremony was held at the club prior to the Bridgewater match to officially open and name the new building.
The building will now be known as the Alan Miles suite in recognition of the hard work our esteemed secretary put in in sourcing and purchasing a new scrummage machine for the club and also for playing the lead role in obtaining such a smart facility in which to house it.
Not only did he travel all the way to Swindon on a baking hot summers day to collect it, he also dedicated several hours of his life to its reconstruction back at the Mannings. The whole project is now only a lick of paint away from completion and you’ve guessed it, Alan is set to complete this task as well.Club captain Ben Large was joined by head coach Frazer McArdell and team manager Chris Rawlings for the official photograph which took place in front of a large and appreciative audience.
