County President Geoff Davies was a surprise visitor at the weekly meeting of the Drybrook Events committee. He was there to hand out volunteer awards in recognition of the tremendous work this particular group have put in over the past year. Geoff praised their efforts in his speech before handing each member a certificate as well as a memento from the county plus a ticket to a Gloucester RFC game.
There was also a complimentary drink and some nibbles to round off the occasion so it was just as well that club chairman Paul Mason was on hand to give his assistance.
