Below is a letter received recently by Club Secretary, Alan Miles.
Dear Alan,
I would like to make a personal donation of £500 to Drybrook RFC to help with purchase of the Gym equipment, following the changing room works.I am Danny Price’s grandfather and my wife and myself have been supporting him and the club for many years. Prior to moving back to Bristol we lived in Ruardean Woodside, and worked in the Forest for over 20 years, my wife at Townsend House and myself as Agency Manager for Anchor Staying Put at Cinderford. It has been a wonderful experience watching the highs and lows and to see them build into a talented, committed team, which has been helped by the strenuous efforts of Frazer and the coaching team. Personally the club have given us so much pleasure, we predominately attend away games as we are in Bristol and look forward to each match. I have emailed you in the first instance to ask you what is the best way to get the donation to you. I am happy to send it electronically to your account if that is possible in which case I will need account details. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely David Donaldson |
