Drybrook cruised to a comfortable victory over a hard pressed Tewkesbury outfit and at times played some very attractive rugby.
Within the opening minute Drybrook were held up on the Tewkesbury line and for the next five minutes the visitors defended for their lives. A try had to come and it did when No 8 Liam Jackson and scrum half Carl Moore combined to put winger Sam Peaper in at the corner.
Tom Treherne converted and he was soon called on to add the extras to another try when relentless pressure resulted in Moore forcing his way over the line.
Drybrook continued to have most of the play and Treherne added a penalty to increase their lead.
With half time approaching Drybrook skipper Simon Rugman burst through a gap in midfield before running in a try from 30 metres out.

The second half started with Drybrook again held up in the opening minute but a series of rucks close to the line eventually resulted in second row Rich Cottrell powering over for a try which Treherne again converted.
Drybrook were then dealt a massive blow when they lost hooker Craig Clarke and flanker Lee Ward to the sin bin within a minute of each other and they faced a tough period with only 13 men on the field.
To their credit they hung on and even managed to add to their score when Treherne kicked another penalty goal.
Back up to full strength made an immediate impact when he finished off a sweeping move down field with a try in the corner which Treherne converted in style.
Drybrook saved their best try to the end when some great interplay led to Peaper grabbing his second try when he was put over in the corner.
There was still time for Treherne to add an easy penalty in front of the Tewkesbury posts to complete a good day for the home club.
Second row Marcus Cowles had his best game since joining Drybrook and out behind skipper Simon Rugman looked to be back to his best form.

Cinderford Stags 29pts
Drybrook United 12pts
Drybrook had first use of the notorious Bridge slope but had to wait until mid way through for a score which came when flanker Pete Meek drove over from a line out on the Cinderford line which Andy Milner converted.
Towards the end of the half Cinderford cut the deficit to 2 points with a try and Drybrook faced a difficult second half.
Drybrook were further hampered when substitute Dean Jelf was sin binned within the opening minutes of the second half and Cinderford capitalized on some handling errors and space out wide to run in 2 tries and add a penalty.
To their credit Drybrook showed some real character and played with a lot of passion and came back with a try from Neil Morgan after a series of pick and drives.
Cinderford had the last word when they won a turnover ball and ran from deep within their own half for a converted try.
Particularly worthy of mention was prop Connor Auker-Howlett who had to swap from loose to tight head prop and showed maturity beyond his years whilst out behind both wingers Connor and Kane Hale attacked and defended positively.

The Extras were involved in a high scoring derby with Bream and came out on top mainly as a result of their control in the forwards.
Drybrook led throughout but were punished for their complacency at times with a number of Bream tries coming from the restart after Drybrook had themselves scored.
Drybrook’s No 8 Paul Cocker and flanker Craig Moore ensured they were always on the front foot with Jack Davies the pick of the backs.
For Drybrook Cocker helped himself to 2 tries with others coming from Chris Parker, Jason Butcher, John Jeffs and Jack Davies.
Craig Boughton added 4 conversions.
