Drybrook under-14s versus Lydney

Drybrook under-14s ran out winners over Lydney 33–32 in a thrilling encounter at the Mannings. Drybrook were very strong for the first 25 minutes of each half, with Lydney clawing their way back in the latter stages. Tries from Fenton Bourne, Brad Preest (3) and Bailey Watts secured the victory, but not without Lydney testing Drybrook’s nerves with two tries in the final minutes. Drybrook showed great defensive determination to hold on for the victory.

Drybrook under-14s versus Worcester

Drybrook entertained Worcester for a friendly game played over three 20-minute periods which saw them run out 61–19 winners. After initial sparring between the two teams, tries from centre Brad Preest (3), new-recruit Ethan Hopkins (2), powerful Bailey Watts (2), and fly-half Rowan Parry ensured the victory.

Drybrook under-13s versus Newent
(17 Nov 2013)

Drybrook under-13s put on a powerful display to beat Newent 55–0. Jensen Precious opened the scoring followed by a brace of tries for Ollie Cook. By half-time, Drybrook had run in three more tries from Fenton Bourne, Jensen Precious and Jay Fellows. Credit to Newent, who reduced the Drybrook try count in the second half with Alfie Bayliss (two) and Rohan Parry the scorers (Bradley Morgan, three conversions).

Drybrook under-14s versus Tewkesbury
(24 Nov 2013)

Drybrook under-14s put up a spirited display against Tewkesbury, going down 52–17. Jensen Precious scored a memorable length of the field try to open the scoring (conversion Rohan Parry). Brad Preest scored in typically direct fashion. Despite the score, the forwards were tenacious in their tackling and Alfie Bayliss put on an excellent defensive display at full-back. Drybrook remained positive until the end of the game with Caleb Lloyd powering over after a prolonged period of pressure on the Tewkesbury line.
