Drybrook completed their league programme with another bonus point victory but Stroud played their part and made them fight all the way.
A powerful scrum on 9 minutes led to a penalty award to Drybrook and scrum half Tom Treherne put them ahead with a successful kick.
Stroud responded immediately from the restart and kicked a penalty to draw level and for a period neither team could break through.
Eventually Drybrook centre Andy Bulumakau made a break and fed fullback Rorie Day who kicked through and won the race to the touchdown.
A patient build up from Drybrook then followed and after several phases of play Bulumakau went over in the corner.
Stroud again hit back from the restart and after

several probing runs the ball was moved wide and poor defence from Drybrook resulted in a try being conceded.
Drybrook responded with some high octane rugby which led to stand off Ben Large putting Bulumakau through the gap for a try under the posts and Treherne converted to complete the first half scoring.

Half Time
Drybrook 20pts
Stroud 8pts

There were a lot of mistakes from Drybrook in the second half but they finally got back into it when winger Luke Fisher went over for a try near the posts which Treherne again converted.
Drybrook’s next try came when a big drive from a line out was illegally halted and Treherne took the  ensuing penalty quickly before darting over.

Treherne converted his own try and a few minutes later Stroud had a second row yellow carded but they raised their game and had Drybrook defending desperately for a period.
Eventually Drybrook managed to break out of defence and near the end and following a  great run from prop Jun Sing Lee, the ball was offloaded to Day who skipped out of tackle before scoring near the posts for Treherne to convert.
The CMCA man of the match award went to N0 8 Andy Chesters who was prominent throughout.
