Drybrook united were let down at the last minute and managed to pull a late fixture out the bag against Coney Hill 3s. United combined forces with Drybrook 3s to head to Gloucester and play the late fixture. Drybrook kicked off and within two minutes Jimmy Ryder found space to score a birthday try, Andrew Milner added the extras to give Drybrook a 7 point lead.

Drybrook started strong, they clearly showed more class than the home side, however a few missed tackles lead to Coney Hill coming back into the game after only 8 minutes.

20 minutes in, great hands from Matt Freeman and Tony Hussey saw Matt Freeman score in the far corner of the pitch to edge Drybrook forward once again, unfortunately it was too much todo for Andrew Milner to add the

conversion leaving the score at 5-12 to Drybrook.

27 minutes gone with the scrums being uncontested due to Coney Hill not having any props available a penalty was awarded to Drybrook 10 meters out from the Coney Hill Line. Skipper Jim Rugman opted to scrum with a dummy pick up and quick ball from Regan Marsh to Andrew Milner with plenty of space to run in a great Try under the posts and added the kick to give a score of 5-19 to Drybrook.

30 minutes gone and Coney Hill bounced back again with a try out wide closing the gap into the break for half time to 10-19.

The second half kicked off with a great catch and run from Kane Hale, Setting off from his own 22 Kane managed to get within 2

meters of Coney Hills try line, Scott Havercroft debut for Drybrook collected the ball and dived over to score his first try for the club Milner converted 10-26 to Drybrook.

Coney Hill came back fighting scoring a further two try’s before kicking of a mass fight getting the game abandoned with 15 minutes left on the clock ending the game with Drybrook in the lead 20-26.
