The Gloucester and District Society of Rugby Referees have just announced that our very own Dave Meek is to be their new President.
This is a big honour and very well deserved and we believe it is the first ever appointment to come from the Forest of Dean and certainly from Drybrook RFC.
Having got over the initial surprise, Dave did admit to being a little choked up and went on to say “I am rather chuffed”
We take this opportunity to congratulate Dave on behalf of everyone at Drybrook RFC and wish him all the best for his term in office.
