Up against basement outfit Midsomer Norton, Drybrook had to work hard for every score against a team who proved hard to break down.
Drybrook started the slowest of the two team and found themselves under some early pressure before conceding a penalty right in front of the post giving the visitors a 3-point lead.
Drybrook quickly regrouped and after a line out just inside Midsomer Nortons half, Mitch Bourne made a clean break down the middle of the pitch before offloading to the supporting Ben Large to go over for the first try of the game. Tim Stevenson successfully converted.
The home team quickly grabbed a second try when Charlie Hubert made a break from a clearing kick and found Mitch Baldwin supporting who went over in the corner with Stevenson again converting. Every time Drybrook moved the ball wide they were making ground with Hubert making another break in the wide channels and good interlinking skills between the backs and forwards saw Danny Price go over for the third try with Stevenson adding the extras.
The bonus point try came just before the half time break with a lineout move straight off the training pitch leading to Elliot Beattie crossing the line. Stevenson kept up his good kicking form by adding the extras.

Drybrook soon picked up from where they left off in the first half with a patient build up leading to a good line from Joe Tingle to break through the Midsomer Norton defence for the fifth try of the afternoon.
Try number six came when Hubert and Large combined well to make good ground in the wide channels before offloading to Mitch Baldwin for his second try with Stevenson converting.
Another training ground move this time from the scrum saw Hubert crossing the line for Drybrook’s seventh try. The home team ended the game on a high with Sam Peaper grapping the last try after a good driving maul.
A good overall team performance although few chances were left on the field. Charlie Hubert was the standout performer with good attacking lines from fullback.
