Wins all round for Drybrook Girls! – Sunday January 8th

Drybrook U13s, U15s and U18s Girls played their first games of the new year at home against Old Richians.

The U13s played 2 games and won both games convincingly, maintaining their unbeaten record.
The first game was a fantastic victory of 11 tries to 5, Tries were scored by Hannah Kibble 5, Lyla Freeman 1, Hannah Keyes 1, Hannah Evenson 3, Hollie Bishop 1.
The second game resulted in another brilliant win with a score of Drybrook 14 tries – Old Richians 4. Tries scored by Hollie Bishop 2, Hannah Kibble 4, Millie Clarke 3, Hannah Evenson 2, Lyla Freeman 2, Niamh Price 1 and Hannah Keyes 1.

Drybrooks U15s picked up a well deserved win in what was a closely fought game.
Brilliant team play and hard work by both the forwards and backs paid off, with great support play by Amber Stamp-Dunstan, Ebony Pendery and Olivia Smeeth secured Drybrook a 24-22 win. Drybrooks Try scorers were Jasmine Parham, Kenzi Sheen, and Lily Mae Walker 2, with Amber Stamp-Dunstan kicking 2 conversions.
Girls of the game went to Lily Mae Walker and Shannon Wintle.Drybrooks U15s picked up a well deserved win in what was a closely fought game.

Old Richians u18s

The U18s girls put on a stunning performance of team rugby for the spectators at The Mannings, with outstanding play from each and every one of the girls.
Tries were scored by Leah Teague, Shauna Bennett, Harlie Field, Maddie Worgan, Kirsty Gwilliam, Robyn Marsh, Jenna Skidmore and Tara Hitchens, and Shauna Bennett also kicked 3 conversions. Harlie also scored a try for Old Richians. Unfortunately try as she might – birthday girl Hannah Roberts could not score a try – even though virtually every girl on the pitch gifted her the ball for a touch down!!!
Girls of the game went to captain Kirsty Gwilliam and Maddie Worgan.
The result was Drybrook 66 – Old Richians 7.
