We are delighted to announce that the club has been awarded £15000 from the county council’s “Active Together” Sport and Physical Activity Grant Fund.
Our local District Councillor Mr Colin Guyton acted as sponsor for the application and we thank him for his interest and support.
The money is to be used to purchase a temporary building to provide additional changing facilities for girl’s rugby matches. It is hoped that the building will be in place soon in the New Year.
In addition some of the money will be used to purchase rugby training equipment and playing kits.
The grant is to be shared by all sections of the club – more details will follow shortly.
