Pre-season game: Llantwit Fardre 7pts Drybrook 26pts

Drybrook were without a lot of regular players for this trip into Wales for their first outing of the season. The match was played over 3 sessions of 25 minutes duration.

Rhys Gardner opened Drybrook’s account with a first half try that he converted himself but this was all they had to show for a fairly disjointed first period.

Things improved marginally in the second half with Harry Howard grabbing a try again converted by Gardner.

Len Mulhane, playing in the centre, scored Drybrook’s third try and the fourth came when a penalty try was awarded. Skipper Ben Large was high tackled when clear and Rhys Gardner added the extras.
Halfbacks George and Large played well along with centre three-quarter Howard.
