Drybrook RFC looks to improve their facilities as part of NatWest RugbyForce on Saturday 25th June starting at 9am
Drybrook RFC is taking part in NatWest RugbyForce and is calling on the support of volunteers and the local community to get involved on a day of DIY on Saturday 25th June.
Natwest RugbyForce is a nationwide programme developed in partnership with the RFU, which helps community rugby clubs to improve their facilities with the long term goal of becoming stronger businesses.
The NatWest RugbyForce Weekend is an opportunity for all club members and the local community to come together to have some DIY fun and work on an improvement project which will make a real difference. There will be a range of jobs available so that everyone can get involved and the club will also be providing refreshments and showing the Australia v England game at 11am.
At 12 noon the county chairman will be popping

in to present the league winners plaque to Drybrook United and in the evening the Events committee will be staging an Open Mic Night.
A RFU spokesman said: “Rugby clubs are at the heart of their local communities and we know that they need support to sustain themselves, not only for the next couple of seasons but also for the years to come. Many England players started their careers at these clubs and NatWest RugbyForce will help clubs to help themselves by giving them a long term vision and enabling them to think like a business to attract and retain members.”
Club Chairman Paul Mason said “This is a real chance for all club members and supporters to build on the enthusiasm and energy from last season to help prepare The Mannings for the challenge of the season ahead – We hear lots about what needs to be done at the club so this is your chance to get involved and help out” – For more information please contact any committee member.
