New coaching appointment

Drybrook RFC are very pleased to announce that Chris Fortey will be taking up the assistant coaching post at the club recently vacated by Luke Fisher.
Chris has a vast amount of experience in rugby having represented Gloucester Rugby 134 times and Worcester Warriors 155 times at the elite end of the game.
He began his rugby career in the junior section at Widden Old Boys RFC before moving onto Gordon League RFC and eventually Gloucester RFC Colts XV in 1993.
He joined the senior Gloucester set up as a full time player in 1996 and quickly established himself in a very successful era for the Kingsholm club.
Along the way he represented the Barbarians and went on the England “A” tour to Canada and the USA in 2001.
He later joined Worcester Warriors and towards the end of his career spent time at Stourbridge Saxons before eventually joining Hartpury as 1st XV skipper before stepping down to take up a coaching role.
