There was a nice surprise in store for club president Gerald Ward at this year’s annual dinner and presentation evening when he was awarded Life Membership of the Forest of Dean and District Rugby Football Combination.
Gerald, who has represented the combination on and off the field, was a long time club representative on the combination committee as well as serving as the district representative on the county committee until 2006.
County President Jeff Tyler was on hand to present the award to Gerald.
