Drybrook Colts vs Cirencester Colts April 17th 2016

Drybrook Colts 52pts
Cirencester Colts 17pts

The Colts XV rounded off their season with a well earned victory over a gallant Cirencester outfit in the spring sunshine at the Mannings.
Manager Jason Watts and coach Chris Rawlings really got into the spirit of things by donning their trendy sunglasses and they would have been really impressed with some of Drybrook’s play.
Cirencester scored the first try before Tom Bradley barged over for Drybrook’s opening score. Scrum half Danny Harris converted but Cirencester hit straight back with another good try by outflanking Drybrook on the left wing.
Joe Watts then put Drybrook back in front and Harris put over a great conversion to extend the lead.
With the first half drawing to a close Nick

Butler scored Drybrook’s third try with a strong run through the Cirencester defence.
In the second half Drybrook rotated the squad to give everyone a game and it was not long before Billy Bowdler ran in for a try after some good support play from his team.
Liam Brady was next on the score sheet when he picked up from a scrum 5 metres out and Harris was on target with the conversion.
Some good running lines led to Will Cook being rewarded for a good performance with a try and Harris converted before he wrapped up proceedings with a two try salvo at the end. The talented scrum half converted both of his own tries to deservedly take the man of the match award.
Cirencester never gave up and were rewarded for their enterprise with a try near the end to complete the scoring.
