Drybrook Girls Match Reports U18s/U15s/U13s – 28th February 2016

Drybrook u15s and U18s welcomed Worcester to the Mannings and put on great performances for the many spectators.

Drybrook u18s started shakily and allowed Worcester to get an early try, this woke the girls up and from then on it was game on! Drybrook dug deep and each time worcester scored Drybrook girls replied with a try also.
The nailbiting game went right to the wire but in the end Drybrooks pack were too strong and won the ball for the backs to finish the game with a winning try in the final few minutes.
The final score was Drybrook 32 – worcester 29.
Tries scored by Harlie Field 2, Shauna Bennett 2, Kayla Skidmore and Kirsty Gwilliam. Vic Mince added 1 conversion.
Girl of the Game went to Georgia Wintle.

Drybrook u15s girls kicked off at a cracking pace and got points on the board within minutes. This

fast and furious momentum continued and Dybrook gave their all working tirelessly together as a team. Late in the second half Drybeook allowed worcester to bag a few tries but it didnt allow them to spoil a fantastic win for the u15s. Final score Drybrook 38 – Worcester 22.
Tries were scored by katy Davis 2, Jasmine Parham 2, Hannah Roberts and Aesha Kaddem, with Amber Stamp Dunstan kicking 4 conversions.
The whole team got the girl of the game award as it was a whole team effort that produced the wonderful win.

Drybrook U13s travelled the short distance to Berry Hill, to take part in what turned out to be a mini tournament. The girls played games against Newent, Cinderford, Worcester and Berry Hill and won every single game they played. Drybrook u13s remain unbeaten this season and are the rising stars of the future. 

Drybrook U18s have new playing shirts thanks to Mowtech. The girls wore their shirts for the first time in their win against Worcester after Ian Pritchard of Mowtech presented the shirts to the girls.
