Forest of Dean Combination Junior Cup Semi-Final 2015

Drybrook United 13pts
Ross-on-Wye 1st Xv 7pts

Drybrook United were given the stiffest possible test by a strong Ross outfit before booking their place in the final.
The home side started the stronger and camped in Ross territory for a long period but eventually the visitors began to see more of the game.
The only score of the half came when the Ross winger took a poor clearance kick and then showed good determination to get over the line for a try.
Drybrook made a few changes at half time and started to string some phases together with Craig Moore in particular putting in

some strong runs and quick defence at the rucks. Skipper Andy Milner kicked a penalty for Drybrook after 10 minutes and then some great play eventually led to a well deserved try for prop Mitch Hale which Milner converted.
Drybrook were then forced onto the defensive for the remainder of the game and defended brilliantly to keep Ross out.
A second Milner penalty put a bit of daylight between the teams but Ross carried on taking the game to Drybrook and the home team were relieved to hear the final whistle.
Drybrook now go on to meet Cinderford Stags in the final.
