Gloucestershire Reserve Premier League Cup Semi-Final
Drybrook United’s scheduled shown down with Dings Crusaders Knights was surprisingly called off by the visitors who were unable to field a team.
Drybrook will now have to wait and see whether the match has to be rearranged or if they will get a passage straight through to the final.
Home advantage in the final goes to the team with the best points difference from the semi-finals so going straight into the final would inevitably lead to having to concede home advantage.

Drybrook Extras started off very slowly, giving several needless penalties away allowing Swindon to start the game off on the front foot. An unconverted try from Swindon after 5 minutes woke Drybrook up and after a barnstorming run number 8 Mitch Hale crashed through several would be tacklers for a try.
Drybrook fell asleep once more giving an easy penalty away for the Swindon kicker to convert.
Finally after 10 minutes Drybrook stopped giving away needless penalties & started playing some good offloading rugby. Next to score was hooker Dean Jelf, taking a quick tap penalty from 5 yards. With 10 minutes to go in the 1st half Connor Hale was on the receiving end from several off loads to score near the posts.
On the stroke of half time great hands from Mitch Hale & Steve Virgo released Andy Milner to score under the posts.

Half Time:

The 2nd half was all Drybrook who played some excellent rugby ably led by fly half Jimmy Ryder & scrum half James Colwell.
