This was an excellent performance from the Colts who bounced back from their disappointing defeat at Cheltenham the previous week.
Yatton took the lead with an early try but Drybrook soon hit back when speedy winger Max Renolf- Watkins hacked through and won the race to the touch down.
More Drybrook pressure followed and Renolf-Watkins was bundled into touch at the corner flag and minutes later flanker Connor Parry went close when he latched on to an inside pass from Kieran Auker-Howlett.
Drybrook’s pack dominated the scrums and the loose ball with second row Will Greenway, No 8 Jordan Taylor-Bourne and flanker Josh Element at the heart of a lot of good play.
With 29 minutes on the clock the Drybrook backs put some good handling together and Renolf-Watkins scorched over for his second try in the corner.

Yatton were competitive throughout the first half and reduced the deficit just before the break with a penalty following a dangerous tackle.

Half Time:
Drybrook Colts 10pts
Yatton Colts 8pts

The introduction of centre Mason Tonks after the break had the desired effect for Drybrook and the powerful centre soon made his mark with some strong running.
A driven maul following a penalty kick to the corner then resulted in a try for Drybrook when Josh Element spotted a gap and powered over the line.
From the restart Drybrook scored a great team try when the ball went through several hands and Mason Tonks cruised in at the corner.
A minute later Tonks put in a huge punt down field and followed up his own kick to gather before touching down.
At 25pts -8pts Drybrook looked to be in complete control but Yatton rallied strongly and grabbed a second try when they hacked on a

loose ball before winning the race to the touch down.
The game then started to get fragmented with both sides guilty of a lot of errors and then a massive punch up in front of the stand resulted in a player from both sides being dismissed.
Play finally settled down and Drybrook ended the game the stronger and completed the scoring with another well worked try. This time, a move which started in their own half which involved some great support play and off loading, ended with scrum half Ben Element scoring under the posts.
Skipper Auker-Howlett added the conversion to complete a good performance from his team.
