A fantastic win for Drybrook Colts, to kick off the season. Coaches Luke Fisher & Mitch Renton have been providing an extremely high level of training for the lads, and it was clear to see the intelligent play and performance within Drybrook’s game .

colts-results-and-tableEach and every player showed 100%, defended brilliantly, and attacked well to create 2 tries as well as also being awarded a penalty try. The first try was scored when Will Greenway powered over from close range and the second was a break away try by Joe Watts who went the length of the field and just outpaced the cover for a spectacular score.
A long period of pressure then resulted in
Drybrook getting a penalty try but Longlevens were always dangerous and kept themselves in it with some well worked tries. Captain Kieran Auker-Howlett gained valuable points for his side with a fine kicking display leading to several penalties and conversions.

The fine weather brought out fantastic crowd support and a result to be proud of for the Drybrook lads against a visiting team containing several Gloucester Academy players.
