Ceri selected for England squad & Girls win County selection

Ceri Large – ex Drybrook RFC Girls Section player has been selected in the England womens squad to play France at Esher RFC on November 3rd.

Ceri now plays for Worcester RFC but regularly returns to Drybrook to help out coaching and supporting the girls section, attending mini/junior section functions and watching and supporting her brothers playing in the Drybrook senior teams.

Congratulations to Ceri for being selected for England and the Girls section and Drybrook RFC wish her all the best.

County News

There was also good news for our girls section with several girls gaining selection for county squads.

7 Drybrook U15 girls have been selected to play for Gloucestershire U15s:-
Bryony Edwards, Bethany Lawrence, Amber Probyn, Natalie Pye, April Vanston, Ashlieigh Wintle and Chloe Wakefield.

2 Drybrook U18 Girls have been selected in the Gloucestershire U18s squad:-
Chanise Beard and Maizie Morgan

This is a great achievement for Drybrook RFC and its Girls section – we wish the girls all the best playing for the County.
Their first match will be on 28th October.
