Drybrook played extremely well in this match at Hartpury where both teams played 15 man entertaining rugby.
It was great to watch from a spectator’s point of view and an excellent run out for Drybrook. Hartpury scored first with an unconverted try but Drybrook hit back and went into a 7pts – 5pts lead at half time.
Both sides scored two tries in the second half

but, Hartpury again missed their conversions and Drybrook ran out deserved winners.
Try scorers for Drybrook were Marcus Cowles, Mitch Baldwin and Sam Peaper with Tom Treherne adding two conversions and Mitch Baldwin one.
The stand out players for Drybrook were Cowles, Fisher and Peaper.
A floodlight failure with 20 minutes to go made things considerably gloomy towards the end and with smoke pouring out from one of the lights the referee ended the game with 5 minutes still on the clock.
