Drybrook recovered from a half time deficit with a remarkable transformation in the second half to emerge not only victorious but with a thoroughly deserved try scoring bonus point.
All the early running came from Drybrook but they lacked the quality to break down the home side and wasted several good scoring opportunities.
With ten minutes on the clock Keynsham opened the scoring on their first visit into the Drybrook half when they attacked from a clearance kick to run in for a try in the corner.
Keynsham’s big pack kept them going forward and a few minutes later they added a penalty from 35 metres to increase their lead.
For a period neither side were able to get on top but Keynsham were unlucky to see a penalty attempt rebound off the posts.
Another Keynsham attack almost brought a second try but a magnificent Danny Price cover tackle averted the danger.
The half ended with Drybrook being denied a try from an attempted pushover scrum as the home side just held them out.

Half Time:
Keynsham 8pts
Drybrook nil

Drybrook upped the tempo of the game at the start of the second half and were rewarded when outside half Ollie Clements made the break to put skipper Simon Rugman over for a try in the corner.
Clements converted with a fine kick and Drybrook attacked from the restart with relentless pressure that eventually led to fullback Kristian Taft going over in the corner.
Drybrook were on fire at this stage and scored again when replacement prop Craig Clarke rounded off a catch and drive that had started back on the home 22 metre line.
Clements converted and after a spell of Keynsham pressure came the try of the match. Drybrook had the confidence to run from deep and Harry Gooderham received the ball just outside his own 22 metre line. The big winger scythed through the home defence skipping out of several tackles on his way to Drybrook’s bonus point score.
Clements put over the simple conversion but there was no let up for Keynsham as Drybrook continued to play some of their best rugby of the season.
Wave after wave of attacks led to Craig Clarke bulldozing over the line for his second try and only over enthusiasm prevented Drybrook from adding to their tally as they messed up a few opportunities near the end.
