An amazing result yet again from the young Drybrook girls.

Maizie Morgan U18S, and Shauna Bennett u15s, have attended 2 south west england training camps in Dorset in preparation for the up coming games. Both girls enjoyed the skills development and training at the weekend camps, but weren’t so impressed with the food!!! Both girls have been selected in the squads for the 1st games versus the North on 16th March at Birmingham Exiles. All the girls and coaches wish both Maizie and Shauna all the best for their games – come on Drybrook Girls!!!!

The u13s girls are hosting a tournament at Drybrook on the afternoon of sunday 23 March – 4 teams are coming along to compete in Drybrooks 1st girls tournament. PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT THE GIRLS!

Last weekend Drybrooks u15s girls played 2 games in a ‘pitch up and play’ event held by GRFU. Their first game was against local rivals Berry hill and was a tough battle and a very close game, Drybrook narrowly losing the game 10 – 7. The second game v Tewkesbury was a great game and the girls true grit and determination showed through and Drybrook Girls went on to win in style. Congratulations to Emily Brown on getting her first tries for Drybrook.
The u15s squad continues to grow in numbers and are looking to be a force to be reckoned with.

The u18s girls played against Tewkesbury u18s in what was a absolutely fantastic game to watch. The girls fought tirelessly to win ball, gain possession and show Tewkesbury they meant business. Drybrook girls were victorious winning 27 – 20, tries scored by Hannah Meek 3, Natalie Pye and Ty Tucker, and Chanise Beard kicking a conversion. Robin Hancock had a strong game, as did Becca Cooper who was outstanding around the pitch the whole game. Well Done Girls.
